1. General
These Terms of Service apply to the FennTek service provided by TachyoNet Oy (hereinafter the “service provider”).
By using the FennTek service, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept the terms, do not use the service.
2. Description of the service
FennTek GPS is a positioning and tracking service that enables real-time tracking of the locations of GPS devices and users, as well as the storage and management of location data.
The service may include:
- Real-time map tracking
- Storage of location history
- User and group management
- Integrations with third-party services
3. User account
Use of the service may require the creation of a user account.
The user undertakes to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep their sign-in credentials secure
- Not disclose their credentials to third parties
The user is responsible for all activity carried out using their credentials.
4. Use of location data
The FennTek GPS service processes and stores location data.
The user is responsible for ensuring that:
- They have the right to track the device, animal or person concerned
- Location data is used in accordance with applicable legislation
- The necessary consents have been obtained
The service provider is not liable for misuse of location data.
5. Service availability
The service is provided “as is”.
The service provider does not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted operation of the service
- Complete accuracy of location data
- Error-free operation of the service in all circumstances
Interruptions may occur, for example, due to networks, devices or third-party services.
6. Limitation of liability
The service provider is not liable for:
- Direct or indirect damage
- Loss of data
- Device malfunctions
- Damage resulting from use of the service
The user uses the service at their own risk.
7. Paid services
Some features of the service may be subject to a fee.
For paid services:
- Charges are indicated separately
- Prices may change
- The service may be suspended due to unpaid fees
8. Changes to and discontinuation of the service
The service provider reserves the right, without separate notice, to:
- Modify the service
- Add or remove features
- Suspend or discontinue the service entirely
9. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy notice.
10. Third-party services
The service may use third-party services, such as:
- Map services
- Sign-in services, such as Facebook, Google and LinkedIn
The service provider is not responsible for the operation of these services.
11. Applicable law
These Terms of Service are governed by Finnish law.
Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation and, if necessary, in a Finnish court.
